World Ties Logo Connect the World With Kindness

Many years ago, The Ties Program implemented “Project Kindness” via our sister organization World Ties, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that supports children and families in Ties’ countries. So that our efforts are focused, we try to find a place, or a group of children, and build a relationship that enhances the lives of the community we touch.

The Super Kids Foundation works for and with kids to reduce violence and build stronger communities. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 in Coronel Oviedo, Paraguay, are currently involved with the program. Super Kids Foundation trains teachers to implement an innovative Life-Skills-Based curriculum. Empowered by the skills they learn, children learn to make healthy choices at an early age. A pattern of good choices will prepare these children to make wise decisions as teens and adults.

Reading regularly is a positive choice. But books are expensive in Paraguay and lending libraries are rare. Next Gen: Paraguay participants are changing this! In 2018, the group donated more than two dozen books to The Super Kids Foundation. Project Kindness Paraguay hopes to double that number annually.

Hermino Gimenez School of Music, located near Ita, recognizes the musical talent of area children and strives to develop it. Elementary through secondary classes are offered here in addition to vocal and instrumental music classes. Project Kindness – Paraguay continues to raise funds dedicated to the building of a new classroom and the purchase of more musical instruments.
