Connect the World With Kindness

Many years ago, The Ties Program implemented “Project Kindness” via our sister organization World Ties, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that supports children and families in Ties’ countries. So that our efforts are focused, we try to find a place, or a group of children, and build a relationship that enhances the lives of the community we touch.

Project Kindness is pleased to support the efforts of Discover the Difference, a community service activity included as part of Chilean Ties. Partnering with Semilla y Esperanza Children’s Home, Chilean Ties families organized after school events and activities for the children and helped with home improvement projects during the school day.  Founded about ten years ago, Semilla y Esperanza helps children and their families from one of the poorest areas of Santiago. About 15 children between 4 and 15 years of age live here during the school week under the care of two adults. The families of children served in this program are also supported in a variety of ways adding to the quality of time spent together when children return to their family home every other weekend.
